Our two friends, Ami and Ziggy spend a day at the scenic Company’s Garden and team up with some new friends on a treasure hunt in search for Isi Squirrel’s golden acorn. Their quest takes them on a space mission at the planetarium... a fossil finding expedition at the museum... and a colourful adventure at the art gallery. Who could have taken Isi Squirrel’s golden acorn?

The friends learn the importance of teamwork and the difference between right and wrong.

“Treasure hunting at the Company’s Garden” is a delight for a teacher to read. It is fun and engaging, with characters that children can easily associate with. The author makes use of an easy but descriptive language, which allows the opportunity to extend the young child’s vocabulary. The characters display important life lessons such as being helpful, the importance of teamwork, and the difference between right and wrong. I highly recommend the book for ages 3+.
